Battle-Jam

High School Marching Bands “Battle-Jam” Bands Performing:

Battle-Jam will consist of 3 high school marching bands representing the Atlanta metropolitan area competing against 3 high school marching bands from outside of the state.

All six participating high school marching bands will split evenly $10,000 ($1,667.00 each). There will be two teams – the three bands from Georgia vs. the three bands from outside of Georgia. Each band is scored individually and the scores of each team will be added together to determine the winner. The winners will receive beautiful plaques and “bragging rights” for the next year.

For this pre-game show each marching band will have 2 minutes to march onto the field, no more than 7 minutes to perform and 2 minutes to march off the field. Each school will also have a time slot to play and will continue to be judged throughout the game. Winners will be announced after the game.
